At Bamboo Green, we are passionate about providing a conducive environment for child-centered learning. Child-centered learning means putting the child’s interests first, as opposed to traditional forms of learning adopted in schools. Child-centered learning is focused on each student’s interests, abilities, and learning styles, placing the teacher as a facilitator of learning. Students play an active role in determining what they will learn, how they will learn, and how they will assess their own learning. Teacher-centered learning, the traditional form of education, has the teacher at its center in an active role and students in a passive, receptive role.
