Mosenji Illustrations 2.24

The company name "Mosenji" comes from our two dogs, a pug, which is Mops in swedish, and a Basenji. Mops + Basenji = Mosenji

But the word has a deeper meaning than that...
Basenji does mean " people of the bush" as opposed to those of town or centers of native culture. The word can be used as an insult, especially in its singular form: "Mosenji" (monkey).

As a basenjiowner you are bound to come across the most hilarious, shocking and funny stories. You realy need not to take life too seriously when sharing your home with a smart and calculating Basenji.

This inspired a column in the Swedish Basenjisociety's paper "Basenjibladet" where readers can follow Lotta and her basenji Holley, beautifully illustrated by Sofie Karlsson.

Now we are taking this concept further, reaching out across the globe, collection wonderfull, funny, sad, amazing stories, and putting them together into, at first a calender, and soon a book.
