Sava's Safe Haven 4.25

Sava's Safe Haven is a registered charity in Romania dedicated to the protection and care of stray animals especially dogs, cats and birds.
Advocate for the protection and welfare of animals in shelters, our organization works as a shelter of animal welfare since 2012.
As a medium-sized shelter Sava's Safe Haven shelter houses a number of 230 dogs but other animals like cats and birds.
Sava's Safe Haven is working with international partners, with an organization registered in Germany " Sava's Safe Haven Deutschland eV" and more volunteers in countries like the UK, Sweden and Austria. Also our official partner in Australia is K9Aid.
Sava's Safe Haven is NOT financed from public funds (by the authorities), NOT receives money or other contributions from local companies.
So our organization depends on donations from animal lovers everywhere.

Our shelter is in Galati, in south-eastern Romania,.
The shelter is run by Sava's family , we don't have employees or long-term volunteers.Rarely have volunteers from other countries for 1-2 days.

Our shelter is registered and authorized by the authorities, with an average capacity and strict animal welfare conditions Sava's Safe Haven has two playgrounds, paddocks, puppy rooms , quarantine and a veterinary clinic.
The shelter is monitored nonstop surveillance cameras, energy is supplied by solar panels.

Sava's Safe Haven rehome dogs in several European countries, adoption conditions are available on the website at the section "How to adopt" .
Our dogs reaching good families, some of them even get to participate in the most important international canine competitions. (See the "Happy Stories")
