Sânmihaiu Român is a commune in Timiș County, Romania. It is composed of three villages: Sânmihaiu German, Sânmihaiu Român and Utvin .DemographicsOf the 4389 inhabitants in 2002, 4117 were Romanians, 131 Hungarians, 66 Germans, 43 Roma and 32 other ethnic groups.The figure below shows the evolution of the population since 1880.
