THE SPACE

Our warm and cosy apartment is situated in Alfama district, the heart of Lisbon, on the second floor of an historical building in a peaceful alley in Campo de Santa Clara.
A few steps from the traditional “Feira da Ladra" fleamarket (Tuesdays & Saturdays from dusk to dawn) and the Panteão Nacional, along the way of the famous tram 28.
The apartment has been entirely renovated and remodelled to include one bedroom with a comfortable double bed, satellite plasma TV and a cute balcony, a living room with a sofa bed, a complete kitchenette; a bathroom with a wide shower.
There are all the amenities you need and you will find the washing machine hiding in a cupboard. In wintertime heaters are provided.

WiFi available for free.

GUEST ACCESS

Out commitment is to provide our guests the best service, so when possible we'll always welcome you personally, otherwise Senhora Rosa who lives in the same building will be glad to show you the flat. She's a very nice, cordial and social lady, though she only speaks Portuguese, we'll always be at a call distance!

We speak English, German, Italian, Portuguese and (basic) Spanish.

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS

We discovered and felt in love with this lovely city once we had the luck to move here. It's an amazing place that covers you in a welcoming hug, and let you have the feeling you already knew her for years.
We are an Italian-German couple that lives in Lisbon for already 5 years so as locals we would love to share information about all the charming places we know.
We're not guides, but when possible we love to meet nice people, share our time with guests, walk around and bring you to our favourite spots, just let us know!

THE NEIGHBORHOOD

Alfama is one of the most authentic neighborhoods of Lisbon. You will stay just a few steps away from a lovely little garden (Jardim Botto Machado) where you can enjoy sitting outside having a stunning view over the Tagus and the Pantheon. Also you will find small grocery and handicraft shops, bakery and typical restaurants nearby.
Just tell us what you like and we will find the right spot for you.

GETTING AROUND

We are close to everything! Walking around is easy in our area. “Feira da Ladra", Pantheon, Museu do Fado, São Jorge Castle, Graça's stunning viewpoints (miradouros) and Alfama's small alleys and stairs are around the corner.
If you prefer public transport, the historical tram 28 stops just a couple of minutes away and can bring you anywhere around the historical centre, Santa Apolónia metro/train station is within 5 minutes walking distance.
If you reach Lisbon by car there are plenty of free parking spots nearby, which get partially occupied by the fascinating "Feira da Ladra" fleamarket on Tuesday and Saturday during the day.
