Tai,s Sports Welfare Organization is a registered nonprofit organization came into being in 1992. From the day of existence Tai Sports Welfare Organization contributed in the field of sports in successfully organizing several sports tournaments especially Martial Arts Championships of National Level, Marathon Race, Shooting and Smash Volley Ball tournaments. Apart from holding all these activities on self resources Organization has been continuously running training sessions and providing trainings to the youth of Gilgit-Baltistan to achieve ultimate goal of upbringing youth with character and decreasing drug addictions. It is pertinent to mention that more than 3000 No of youths have been trained in several belts (martial art grades) and performing their duties in different government and other sectors as good citizens. In addition to martial art trainings thousands of youth have been provided with opportunity to explore their athletic and sports abilities through holding of tournaments and pave their future with healthy life.
Tai Sports Welfare Organization has planned to construct a stadium on proposed free of rent land, offered by Haider Tai, founder of the organization at village Gircha Sost Gojal Hunza District Hunza Nagar, Gilgit-Baltistan.
