Shaykh Maulana Habibullah Ahmad Naqshbandi (d.b.),

Shaykh Zulfiqar Ahmad is one of the leading Shaykhs of Tasawwuf in the present era. Formally granted authorization (ijazah) in the Naqshbandi spiritual path (tariqah), he has devoted himself entirely to the service of Islam.

Trained as an electrical engineer, he took an early retirement at the age of forty from his corporate career to spread the teachings of tasawwuf and tazkiyah.

He regularly travels to more than forty countries transforming the lives of people all over the world. A testament to his deep love for Allah, his uncompromising dedication to sunnah of the blessed Prophet (May the blessings and peace be upon him) and his firm adherence to Islamic Law (shariah) is that thousands of religious scholars and students of Islamic learning are among his students (murids). Shaykh Zulfiqar Ahmad regularly delivers lectures in both English and Urdu across the world. Furthermore, he has written more than 150 books, many of which have been translated into several languages.

Dozens of institutions of Islamic learning have been established directly by him or by his students under his patronage all over the world.

Shaykh Maulana Habibullah Ahmad Naqshbandi (d.b.),

Shaykh Habibullah Ahmad received his early education in Pakistan. He memorised the Holy Qur’an at an early age and went on to pursue the Dars e Nizami degree. He graduated with an Aalimiyah degree from Wifaq ul Madaris Pakistan, which is equivalent to a double Masters in Arabic and Islamic Studies.

Shaykh Habibullah Ahmad spent years in learning and practicing the sciences of tasawwuf and completing his asbaaq in the Naqshbandi order under the supervision of his father and shaykh, Shaykh Zulfiqar Ahmad Naqshbandi. He was granted ijazah and khilafah in year 2009 to spread the teachings of tazkiyah and tasawwuf.

Shaykh Habibullah Ahmad is also currently the Managing Director of Mahad al-Faqir al-Islami. He delivers regular lectures and conducts zikr gatherings in the khanaqah and is also invited as a speaker in different parts of the world. Shaykh Habibullah Ahmad is also a published author.

Shaykh Saifullah Ahmad has been a constant companion of his father and shaykh, Hazrat Zulfiqar Ahmad Naqshbandi, learning and spreading the teachings of tazkiyah and tasawwuf. In 2009 he was granted ijazah and khilafah from his father to formally spread the teachings.

Shaykh Saifullah Ahmad Naqshbandi is a prolific author.
