Founded in 1967, Islamabad Model College for Girls (Post Graduate) F-7/2 , Islamabad, formerly known as Federal Government College for Women, F-7/2, is the oldest girls institution in Islamabad. It offers HSSC, Degree and Post Graduate classes in Science and Humanities. The number of enrolled students is 3500 approximately. The college campus is ideally located at the center of the city. College is easily accessible from Rawalpindi and rural areas of Islamabad. It spreads over 13 acres and offers excellent facilities for the students. The College is affiliated with the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Islamabad at the Higher Secondary School level, where are Degree and Postgraduate classes are affiliated with the Quaid-i-Azam University. The college is reputed for having excellent results in Board and University examinations along with top academic positions.
