Course Outlines

Level 1: Event Planning and Project Management

This course introduces students to the foundational elements of event planning and project management. Topics explored in class include planning and execution, damage analysis, collaborative projects, sales, and customer relations. Students are also exposed to actual vendor activity through on-site visits and participation in upcoming events of DAWAT and L’ecole.


Level 2: Marketing Yourself

In the world of event management, marketing yourself as the most credible and professional person/company for the job is critical. Organizations must concentrate on key areas such as networking, social media, digital marketing and the importance of selling your brand. Level 2 is designed to develop marketing skills in event managers.


Level 3: Capstone Project

Using a combination of case-study exercises and research-based methodologies, candidates will develop their very own fully functioning event management operation using a powerful business plan simulator. Completion of this course will lead to the Event Management Diploma awarded by L’ecole.
