Quran Society:
CECOS Quran Society is a society managed and run by faculty and students of different campuses of CECOS University.

History:
The society was founded way back in 1994.

Inauguration:
Inauguration ceremony was held on June 6, 1994. The society was inaugurated by the honorable President CECOS University, Engr. Muhammad Tanveer Javed.

Oath Taking Ceremony:
Oaths were taken from faculty members by Mr. Muhammad Jamshed.

Founding Objectives:
1. To build up the character of young generation.
2. To preach and spread the teachings of Quran and Sunnah.
3. To inculcate the spirit of Islam amongst our students.

Seminars:
More than 50 seminars were arranged in 14 active years of society on below topics;

Notable Activites:
1. Sirf Paanch Minute Ka Madrassa (Five Minute Madrassa):
A book named as “Sirf 5 Minute ka Madrassa” was given approval by the administration to be read at the start of 1st lecture on daily basis. The purpose was to learn 10 things in just 5 minutes in light of the Shariah.

2. Fehm-e-Deen Courses:
Fehm-e-Deen Courses are arranged on regular basis to provide the students and faculty a chance to learn and understand the basics of Islam.

3. Book Stalls:
Book stalls are also arranged occasionally having a variety of books by renowned authors; to provide students a facility to learn and understand Islam through reading.

4. Other Activities:
Study and excursion tours, Seerat-e-Nabi Conferences and group discussions.
Brochures and handbills are also distributed occasionally.

Future Planning:
Involving Other Societies:
In future the society aims to increase its audience by using the platforms of different societies.

Other than CECOS:
Society also aims to engage the audience from out of CECOS University.
