BUITEMS Faculty of Engineering & Architecture 3.83

Faculty of Engineering and Applied Sciences was established in October 2004, and renamed as Faculty of Engineering in 2007, on hierarchal academic setup and in depth analysis of academic function by the present worthy Vice Chancellor, Engineer Ahmed Farooq Bazai (S.I). It is located at BUITEMS Takatoo Campus (named after the Takatoo mountain nearby) at Baleli Quetta in former Bolan Textile Mill. It consists of eight departments out of which three departments namely Textile Engineering, Petroleum & Gas and Chemical Engineering are already established at the campus. Three programs namely Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering and Geological Engineering were started in 2008. Keeping in view the city planning for the province of Balochistan, a five year degree program in Architecture was started in 2009.
