Reading books the way we used to is fast falling out of favor. With the advent of the internet, our lives are more crowded than ever, and it is becoming increasingly difficult to find the time or mental fortitude to escape into the pages of a book and soak up its words with genuine relish. And let's face it, books are getting pretty expensive. For someone who likes to read a lot, buying every book they want to read is not a wise financial decision. In the absence of well-maintained libraries, we have turned to scouring old-book stores and downloading ebooks off legally dubious websites. Well, we think being able to read books should be much much easier. We're bringing the dream back to life.

Bear With Books is a service for those of us who still have a soft spot in our hearts for the unfathomably quaint and delightful experience of reading real paper-and-ink books. For a fixed monthly membership fee, we'll send you any book you ask for ‒ as long as we can find it. You can read it at your own pace and tell us when you're done. We'll collect it from your address and send you the next book you asked for. Rinse, repeat. Read as many books as you want, as fast or slow as you want.
