“I can I will” is the saying of the Al Qasim Institute for Mentally Retarded Children in Jhelum .

The Al Qasim Institute aims to make each child admitted self-dependant in adult life by exploring the full capabilities of each. The institute was established in 1984 by Marhoom Haji , Allah- Daad Ansari Sahib (Late), Dr. Major(R) Yousaf Akhtar and Mrs. Sajida Ahmadand. What once started as a one classroom holding only a handful of students, presently the school has over one hundred students with numerous rooms for their learning.

This Organistion was built on one main condition; No fees would be charged. This school solely runs on your zakat and sadaqah to fulfill our mission.
