The livelihood program of DSWD has been very supportive in every municipality of each regions and provinces in uplifting the lives of our Pantawid Pamilya household beneficiaries including displaced and vulnerable families like OSYs, PWDs, senior citizens and families that belong to the critical level of poverty. We create microenterprise development thru skills training and seed capital fund and employment facilitation thru skills competency training and employment program to alleviate poverty in our respective locality.

We have two modalities that we use for this program; Microenterprise Development (MD), facilitates different interventions to the participants for them to: acquire/improve their entrepreneurial skills, gain knowledge and access to the different opportunities for supplier and client relationship, prepare for enterprise management (e.g. group formation, business planning and asset acquisition) and establish a new microenterprise or enhance existing microenterprise; and Employment Facilitation (EF),the program prepares its participants to be qualified and ready to enter employment. The program facilitates different interventions to the participants for them to: acquire/improve their employable skills, gain knowledge and access to the available job opportunities, prepare for employment (processing of documents, job application) and enter employment.

SLPA Luisiana ay isang ganap gropo ng mga asosasyon na kinabibilangan lahat ng mga Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino benefeciary na pinapangasiwaan ng Sustainable Livehood Program (SLP) ng DSWD Region 4A. Lahat po na bibilhin ninyo ay malaking tulong sa ating mga benefeciary para sa kanilang pangarawaraw na buhay.

Layunin po natin dito na maiangat ang kabuhayan ng pamilyang pilipino lalo na sa mga nasa laylayan ng ating kumunidad.
