The Filipino term “YUGTO” is defined as a ‘(n.) A fundamental transition or development of a story or phenomenon.’ The group is always in transition for the betterment of student leadership. The logo is in the text of “YUGTO” using baybayin, our traditional way of writing. The logo encapsulates our being as a Filipino, added by the meaning of the red baybayin viz. passion, courage, and determination. It is also complimented by the modern alphabet “YUGTO-LASALLE”, below the logo, in teal with the meaning of credibility, wholeness, and balance.


The organization envisions itself to establish and tap different student leaders all over the university. It aims to promote student leadership by implementing various organization-related projects initiated by its members throughout the university.


In actualizing its Vision-Mission, YUGTO operates to uphold excellence, integrity and holistic learning; to institute programs and projects geared towards growth and development; to underscore the importance of student leadership in different fields and the academe; and to promote dialogue and cooperation amongst the students in De La Salle University – Dasmariñas.


YUGTO-LA SALLE focuses on the students and implementation of organization which can be a good foundation to all students because it requires commitment, character, grit and passion. It is also one way of boosting students' confidence and developing their strengths. YUGTO-LA SALLE also have phenomenal members that makes the party even more attractive; the eloquency and the perseverance they have showed for the past years was pure excellent


Empowerment and radical changes that this party can give are present and shared to the students. We teach by us being Good leaders, who leads the committed and inquisitive students that can add fuel to the fire academically, socially and all aspects in life. It will also help students to be more dedicated, mature and responsible. Acing every tasks and responsibility can be a big impact to the others and to the university.
