Torrijos White Beach 4.53

Facing the Sibuyan Sea, the waves are not so big and strong – kids will surely enjoy swimming; the beach area is wide – simply perfect for beach sports. The amazing view from the beach of the province’s highest peak, The Mt. Malindig, is also a superb addition!

TRAVEL NOTES: Poctoy White Beach is a public beach. You have to pay the P25 entrance fee. Renting of cottage costs P200 only. Camping isallowed. There are no restaurants in the area, only karinderya and sari sari-stores. From time to time, fishermen are docking in the beach area with fresh-caught seafoods/fishes like Yellow Fin, Dorado, Galunggong, Sardines, and squids. You can buy and ask the canteen owners to cook for you – for a cheap cooking charge.

Ang Torrijos White Beach ay maihahalintulad natin sa Beach ng Boracay dahil sa puti at pinong buhangin nito. Matatagpuan naman ito sa Barangay ng Poctoy, Torrijos, Marinduque. Kung magmumula ka sa bayan ng Torrijos; ay maaari kang sumakay ng Jeep (P8.00 – Pamasahe) o di kaya naman ay sa Tricycle (P10.00 – Pamasahe). Kung magmumula ka naman ay sa Sta. Cruz, maaari kang sumakay ng Jeep (P .00 – Pamasahe) at mas sulit kung kayo ay may sariling sasakyan.

Dito maaari kayong mag surfing/ magtampisaw, mamangka at tamang-tama rin ito para sa buong pamilya at barkada na dito mag-picnic. Pwede rin kayo dito mag camping; basta’t may dala kayong sariling tent house. May mga available air-condition at fan rooms na pinapaupahan at ilang mga kainan at tindahan na makikita dito. Kung kayo naman ay naghahanap ng mga souvenirs items tulad ng mga t-shirts, key chains, magnets at iba pa, available ang mga ito sa Front Desk sa registration area.
