"If the Spirit is with us, that is because God had a very precise and certain thought regarding Notre Dame de Vie, a thought that he came to turn into reality … This divine thought translated itself in my spirit into a desire to transmit Carmelite spirituality, this spiritual treasure that we possess, a doctrine to be made real in a living way, a doctrine that points the way to supernatural fulfilment, the doctrine of our saints, that of St John of the Cross, St Teresa of Avila and St Thérèse of the Child Jesus. I sensed that this treasure had to be made widely and humbly known to all souls and that it should not be reserved for a privileged group. This treasure, which is the love of God, wants to spread and looks for souls in every walk of life, in order to call them to divine intimacy and reveal the secrets of God’s heart."
