DXTM known as Magic 89.1 started in 1993 in Davao City , re-branded to DXBE Your Music Authority Killerbee 89.1 in 1995 , and in 2013 re-branded to Magic 89.1 is a Top 40/Contemporary Hit Radio (CHR) Radio station in Davao City featuring "Today's Best Music".
It is owned and operated by Quest Broadcasting Incorporated. It is license to operate on a maximum power of 5000 watts ,reaching as far as nearby cities such as Island Garden City of Samal and Tagum City in Davao Del Norte and Digos City in Davao Del Sur.
The Station's studio and transmitter is at the 6th floor Metrolifestyle Building Complex, Torres st. Davao City.
Magic 89.1 Davao is currently making waves in the social media through twitter, instagram and facebook making it engaging with their target audiences 15-25 + 26-35 crowd. It constantly continues to innovate, its programs and music playlists.
Magic 89.1 Davao's Station Manager Jack Ripper leads a tight on-air crew of 6 disc jockeys and 2 junior jocks hosting different magic programs that include: The Breakfast Club which is hosted by Rod Rodriguez and Gabee, followed by On-Demand with Kevin Rage from 9-12nn, Big Meal 12-3pm hosted by Chuck Mauri, Pop Stop by Joefisher which features the top 5 songs of the day and capped off with the minimixes during the quarterattack from 3-6pm, bad boys of radio BNO checks in at 6pm and Paul Martin ends the day with the Happy Ending from 10pm-1am.
The Magic Super Weekend starts with the Friday Madness with hits from the 90s all the way to 2000s, while Saturday starts with the Magic Top 40 countdown featuring the top 40 songs for the week, SuperWeekend cmagiontinues with Spectrum Radio at 9pm giving you the latest on music festivals and parties around the country. then and All-Request Sunday with the Junior jocks from 6:00 in the morning to 6:00 in the evening then your dose of OPMs on Local Vocal (6-9pm) and ends it with Sunday Slowdown(9-12mn) .
