ELJ Builders, Inc. is a family-owned corporation and managed by a hardworking and proficient man who further acquired his knowledge, skills and expertise in the construction field during his stint from a reputable construction company, Aboitiz Real Estate & Construction Division, a subsidiary of Aboitiz & Company Inc.
ELJ Builders Inc. was incorporated in 1999 after a decade from being a sole-proprietorship entity in 1989 then named, ELJ Builders & Integrated Services. It started engaging only in some small-scale projects such as various renovation and repair works including construction of perimeter fences, school classrooms and low- cost residential houses.
It was in 1992 when it got its first major breakthrough in the construction industry as there was a construction boom in Cebu dubbed “CEBOOM”. ELJ BUILDERS & Integrated Services was commissioned by Pathfinder Holdings Philippines, Inc. to undertake the completion of interior fit-out works of their 5-star beach resort – Alegre Beach Resort, located in Barangay Kalumboyan, Sogod, Cebu. It was at this time that ELJ Builders & Integrated Services was acknowledged and recognized for its quality workmanship by other prospective clients.
Thus, the company was commissioned also in the refurnishing works of other hotels such as the Cebu Marriot Hotel (a subcontract of Shimizu Philippine Contractors, Inc.) and interior fit outs of Cebu Waterfront Hotels Guestrooms in levels 3, 5,6 &9. Other major undertakings followed like Construction/renovation of chain outlets and branches of Jollibee Foods Corporation, the flagship company behind the famous fastfood products of Jollibee, Chowking and Greenwhich located at various malls and commercial centers in some key cities and provinces in the country.
The success of ELJ Builders, Inc. is the result of perseverance, dedication and hard work of a man driven with independence and excellence. These traits became evident when the company, nonetheless, still survived even in its formative years while the country was experiencing economic slump brought about by natural calamities and political unrest.
Now on its 25th year, ELJ BUILDERS, Inc. has proven its commitment in providing quality and uncompromising workmanship in interior fit out works. It even expanded further its scope of services as a General Contractor when it was accredited by PCAB as Category B ( General Building and General Engineering) as per PCAB License No. 36313. The accreditation even made ELJ Builders, Inc. as one of the most preferred construction service providers by both local and national companies such as Filamer Christian College, Teletech Customer Care Management Philppines, Robinson's Land Corp., Robinsons Saving Bank, Visayan Electric Company (VECO), and Lexmark.
All these endeavors have indeed proven its worth as a professional contractor with a drive for pragmatic excellence while dealing with its clients under high professionalism and ethical standards.
