Through the valiant effort of the Davao Council for Call and Development, Inc. (DCCDI) - an organization of Ulama and professionals in Davao region, the Davao Regional Arabic Academy, Inc. (DRAAI) was established in 2013 at Datu Abdul, Panabo City.

DRAAI aims to provide a complete Arabic academic learning to all Muslim youth, most especially in the region of Davao, through a highly competitive curriculum, using the Arabic language as the primary medium of instruction; as administered by proficient Muslim scholars who are highly-qualified and expert in the fields of Islamic Studies, Da'wah, Shari'ah, etc.

As the first Arabic academic institution in Davao region, DRAAI envisions to produce young Muslim professionals in the future, equipped with Islamic knowledge, wisdom and values.

Vision:
A Center for excellence and leadership in Higher Arabic Education in Davao Region that is globally competitive and distinguished institution which advances Islamic knowledge - based society that produces righteous individuals, encourages worship to Allah and service to humanity and promotes respect for diversity.

Mission:
The Academy is committed to provide every student wider access to quality college Arabic educational opportunities, facilities, relevant programs, quality instructions and Islamic cultural and ethical values.

Goal:
We aim to provide an accessible and/or available standardized Islamic education in the entire region of Davao, geared with modern facilities and technology conducive to the learning of every student; designed with highly-competitive academic curriculum and methodology through proficient mentors; and equipped with excellence among students.
