CHURCH HISTORY
It was November 2009 when a group of people who share common vision, which is to serve God passionately, held a prayer and fasting at one of the houses at Villa Palao Banlic, Calamba Laguna. This gathering gave birth to a church named “Wordpower International Christian Center” which has a desire to liberate the captives by sharing and preaching the word of God with power.
On March 21, 2010, the first Sunday service of WICC was held at “Kubol” (Nipa Hut) at the side of the railroad. Worship then was led only by an acoustic guitar and it has less than 15 members. As years pass by God blessed the church to rent a small building at Villa Palao Subd.
On its 3rd year anniversary God revealed the the real way of serving the Lord, which is in the context of discipleship. God used Ptr. Neryn Phol G. Hinampas to teach the church with those principles and apply and get caught by the G-12 Vision which was headed by Ptr. Ceasar Castellanos. The restoration of the church was really visible and those changes led the congregation to modify even the name of the church. When the leaders were already caught by the vision, the realization of the word “conquerors” really impressed their hearts that “Every Believer is a Conqueror for Christ”. Getting ready to win, disciple, consolidate and send souls the new name “Celebration Church World Conquest Ministry” was established.
It was the month of August 2013 when the church finally moved in a much better place located at Block 10 Lot 6 and 8 Villa Palao Banlic, Calamba Laguna. The first Sunday service was held that week and at that place headed by Ptr. Neryn Phol, introducing the new culture of “Winning Souls and Making Disciples” and “Making Every Believer a Leader” breaking the old culture and accepting the new wave of real transformation.
Under the divine Leadership of God and our Pastor, Neryn Phol and his wife Vivian G. Hinampas, who has the heart of a shepherd, Celebration Church World Conquest Ministry continues to be conquerors of Christ and instrument in the hand of God fulfilling the great commission (Matt. 28:10-20).
