Bacayan Elementary School 4.07

Bacayan Elementary School has been operating since 1958. It is located in the northern part of

Cebu. It is situated in a mountain top with 98 stair steps. With the mini forest tree in the area, it gives a

cooler and fresher air to breath. It has more than 6,000 square meter land area.



It is situated 12 kilometers north from Cebu City. It is bounded by the east of Mandaue City, on

the west by Barangay San Jose, on the north by Barangay Pit-os, on the south Barangay Talamban.

The Place is known for its bamboo trees. That is why, Bacayan got its name from the word "bagacay".
