A native of Chinchero, a small community above Cusco, Tim has worked with and knows many the local guides, cooks, horsemen, and so on and is able to pick only the best, so we can offer you the best. The porters for instance, are chosen from several local communities, they know each other and work well together. Choosing all porters from a single community is just one example of how we also work towards improving the lives of people in the small communities surrounding Cusco.
