Xtreme Sport Horses operates from a property located in Te Horo on the Kapiti Coast, which is known to be one of the mildest climates within New Zealand. We are 5 mins from the beach, which spans for miles, and 1 hour from Wellington City!!

Our property comprises of 50 flat acres, and we are currently in the process of developing this into a top breeding and show jumping yard, our facilities include an 80m x 40m all surface arena (which includes a 40m free jump wall), round yard, horse walker, outside yards, stallion collecting phantom, breeding mare crush, and includes paddocks all varying sizes; plus an open stable complex which comprises 10 covered yards, 4 stables (including 2 x large stallion stables), and a laboratory etc. We are about to complete the foaling accommodation, and start on the rider and groom accommodation,

Xtreme Sport Horses compete a team of well bred mares at varying show jumping levels and ages. We have a specialised breeding programme combining the best show jumping stallions in the world with some of the best performed and bred mares in New Zealand. This is proving to be extremely successful with some fabulous young stock on the ground.

The mares are all put in foal as 3 yr olds, and then following weaning they become part of the competition team from a 5 year old. They help market and advertise the quality and capability of the horses that we are breeding.

All of the boys that we breed are for sale. These elite performance horses, vary in type to suit differing markets, and are for sale from as young as weanlings if required. They are aimed for all rider markets including Junior, Young, Amateur and professionals, and cover all aspects of equestrian disciplines, ie: show jumping, eventing, equitation, dressage, show hunter, and all rounders etc.

We have over 70 horses, including the two Licensed Holsteiner Stallions, Corofino II and Cassiano. The competition team will this year consist of 6 horses, ranging from 4 yr olds up to Grand Prix level. In addition we have our carefully selected broadmare herd, and quality line up of youngstock that we have bred.

They all have fabulous breeding and are incredible types with awesome temperaments. They will certainly be very successful performance horses.

Our horses are all broken in correctly, well handled, and cared for, they have always been kept in super condition from the day they are born, including regular worming, feet trimming and teeth done.
