Riverbank Farm Equine 3.28

Riverbank Farm Equine is an all purpose Equestrian facility where people of all levels are welcome to come to improve their riding and horse communication skills in a friendly, encouraging, and safe environment.
Director Jane Lenaghan (ne- Abbott) has been riding and training for over 30 years and horses are her passion. From very humble beginnings, she has followed her heart and made horses her career and is interested in all aspects of horsemanship.
Jane has a wealth of experience from working with and training literally hundreds of horses over the years, and whenever possible, learning from like minded Equestrian Proffesionals to gain a broader knowledge.
She has competed successfully in both Dressage and Eventing at a National Level, and worked as a stunt rider in a major film, but equally enjoys any kind of equestrian activity from hacking to Hunting to hoofball!

Jane uses Natural Horsemanship based methods in her training and has developed her own style over the years, using techniques she values from a variety of well known training systems.
She believes that whilst consitency and progressive structure is important in training, that it is not always advisable to apply one hard and fast system to all horses, as horses, like people, vary in personality and temperament. She believes the skill in being a good trainer is being able to gain an individuals trust and respect. Recognising and reading a personality and then being able to adopt suitable techniques to communicate with the individual (horse or human) help to make it easy for them to understand what is required. Jane has a relaxed and friendly approach and wants her clients (equine and human) to find confidence and enjoy their learning.
