Details

Diamond FC was formed in 1893; an amalgamation with Zealandia and Wellington United in the 1950's created Wellington Diamond United. Previous National League Champions 1976, 1981 & 1985. In 1986 Hungaria who had already joined with Wellington City and Diamonds combined to form Wellington United. The club has a proud and colourful history and has been a three-time Chatham Cup finalist, as well as winning the Federation Premier League in 2001.
