Wellington Running Club, Scottish Athletics is one of New Zealand’s largest running clubs. The club is open to all levels of runners from beginners to elite level.

Our running club prides itself on being the friendly running club in the Wellington running community. There is a strong social element and plenty of interaction between various social and competitive groups across the club.

As well as being the running club of choice for Wellington runners, the club has a proud competitive history of over 100 years. Wellington Scottish Athletics has won “Top Running Club” award at the New Zealand Road Relay Championships on six occasions in the last decade. Many of our senior men and women’s running teams have won the Road Running Relay Championship over the years. The club has also produced many national and international class elite runners.
