Class price $14-15. We work on a 10 week term in line with the school term. Generally commitment is for a term.

Yoga means “union” or “harmony.”
It is the perfect exercise, being fully holistic in that it involves body, mind & spirit.

Yoga allows us to deepen our self understanding & awareness through physical movement (asana), breathing and meditation.

There are many different styles of yoga. Some styles are fast and vigorous while others are very gentle and slow-moving. All of the styles of yoga have benefits. At The Yoga Room we work with allignment and precision in every movement. We use props that help with precision and put less stress on the muscles. Postures are sequenced carefully to have specific affects on your body.

If I had to 'tag' the style of yoga it would be a version of Iyengar yoga. (I'm trained as a Hatha teacher but have practised for many years in the Iyengar tradition)
