NZTA was established in 2008 by the head coaches, Gerrit Steenkamp and Guillaume Gignoux. In combination, these two dedicated coaches have over 40 years of experience in the tennis industry. They began working for Waikato Tennis Association in 2003 upon arriving in New Zealand.
