Eastern Bay of Plenty Kayak Fishing Club 2.77

The EBOP Kayak Fishing Club is run by a group of enthusiastic and passionate kayak anglers. currently there are over 30 members of the club and the number is climbing every year.

Each month there is a club day at a different location in the EBOP. A club member arranges where the fishing takes place and there are prizes for various categories, which are decided by the organiser of the day.

Each November the club day is held over a weekend in Maraenui staying at the coastal cottages. This weekend is free of charge to club members as part of the yearly fees.

Every January the club holds a tournament with fantastic prizes, including a major spot prize of an Ocean Kayak. The tournament has numerous other spot prizes and heaps of prizes for the main categories sponsored by the local business in the EBOP.
