Career Central NZ 1.74

Career Central allows students anywhere, anytime access to career resources and advice, while keeping track of students information so that Careers staff and teachers can assist students to find an appropriate career pathway through and beyond school.

Career Central integrates with your school management system, such as KAMAR. Students and staff will be able to login using their school management system accounts. Your school management system will automatically keep Career Central up to date with student information.
Career Central contains a variety of customisable modules/pages. Staff can make different pages visible to different year levels depending on their career maturity. In general year 9 and 10 is about self awareness, year 11 and 12 introduces opportunity awareness and year 12 and 13 focus on skills needed for deciding and acting.
Staff are able to see students responses in their career profile. This information can be used to assist in career counselling as well as academic mentoring.

Students are also able to book appointments or make requests, see their interview notes, be informed about upcoming career events, have access to career resources, and research jobs all through their portal.
Careers Advisors are able to create interview notes, send group messages (to cellphones and email), compile reports to be sent home to parents, search for groups of students, advertise and manage career events and even keep in touch with past students.
