Ugo-Honjō Station is a railway station in Yurihonjō, Akita, Japan, operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East).LinesUgo-Honjō Station is served by the Uetsu Main Line, and is located 228.9 rail kilometers from the terminus of the line at Niitsu Station. It is also the terminal station for the Yuri Kōgen Railway Chōkai Sanroku Line.HistoryUgo-Honjō Station opened on 30 June 1922. The station has been unattended since October 1981. The Yashima Line was privatized on 1 October 1985, becoming the Yuri Kōgen Railway Chōkai Sanroku Line.
