Iwanami Station is a railway station on the Gotemba Line in the eastern part of Susono, Shizuoka, Japan, operated by Central Japan Railway Company (JR Central).HistoryIwanami Station began opened on December 8, 1944. Along with its division and privatization of JNR on April 1, 1987, the station came under the control and operation of JR Central. The current station building dates from 1989.
