Hot Spring House in Kowakudani 2.57

Our house is one of the few private homes blessed with an authentic outdoor volcanic (onsen) hot bath. The "rotenburo" is laid out with boulders and fed by a natural volcanic hot spring.

Due to limitations with our well's pump, we have to use only the indoor bath during the colder months (typically mid December to early March).

Layout:

There is a small kitchen separated from the living room by a counter (up to 6 can eat at the counter). More can eat at the small table in the living room.

The living room has a TV, wireless Internet, and projector (for computers).

There are only 2 bedrooms, one with a king size bed and another large room with up to six Japanese futons. There are also 2 small fold down sofa beds that can be used in the living room if necessary.

The house does not have AC. You are in the mountains and we find that it is wonderful to just open the windows and let the breeze blow through.

Guests will have access to the full house.

We will not be present during your stay. You will pick up your key at the house.
