Ashigara Station is a railway station on the Gotemba Line located in the eastern part of Oyama, Shizuoka, Japan. It is operated by Central Japan Railway Company (JR Central).HistoryAshigara Station opened on September 15, 1947.Regularly scheduled freight services were discontinued on February 1, 1971. Operational control of the station was transferred to JR Central following privatization of JNR on April 1, 1987.
