Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Hurda 3.98

The contemporary times with their pressing needs and challenges are forcing humanity into retrospection about its pains and gains. While we all should take pride in our scientific and technological achievements, we should also bear the shame of increasing violence, stark selfishness, and a disappearing concern for fellow beings. However, such darkness can be eliminated only by lighting a lamp, no matter how small the lamp. Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya is one such lamp, which was lit in 1977. Inspired by and based on the lofty teachings of Paramahansa Ramakrishna and his illustrious disciple Swami Vivekananda, it has been trying to inculcate faith in oneself, to discover the joy of effort, to have a concern for the fellow beings, and to ignite a quiet confidence, among its students. It is managed by the Ramarpan Education Society, New Delhi, and patronized by the LNJ BHILWARA GROUP. In its thirty five of existence, it has been trying to spread the light in the life of its students as well as teachers.
