Model Finishing School 2.21

The Model Finishing School is a pioneering venture of the Government of Kerala, set up with the purpose of enhancing employability of qualified youths from the State of Kerala. It is a joint initiative of IT Department, Government of Kerala and Institute of Human Resources Development (IHRD), with the support of Infosys

Set up with the mandate of increasing the employability of educated unemployed youths in the State of Kerala, courses were launched at Model Finishing School in May 2008. Ever since, Model Finishing School has successfully imparted Employability Enhancement training to scores of youths, all the while securing them attractive placements in reputed IT companies of India. Apart from the Employability Enhancement Programme, we have also successfully conducted pilot programmes in Soft Skills and Business Communication for management degree holders and Advanced Programme in Embedded Systems for technically qualified graduates.

With state-of-the-art infrastructure and eminent team of faculty members, Model Finishing School has all the makings to emerge as the pivotal training institution in the State of Kerala, catering not just to the student community but to employees of all levels as well.

Apart From the regular Training Programme MFS had conducted various training Programmes for the Officials of Govt. Departments such as Motor Vehicle Department, Forest Department etc.

As part of infrastructure, we have spacious air-conditioned classrooms equipped with state-of-the art facilities like overhead projectors and one-to-one computers.
Model Finishing School has been able to attract the cream of personnel who occupy faculty positions, in both technical and life skills areas. Our faculty members have been drawn from different backgrounds and boast of advanced educational qualifications and work-life experience and also trained by Infosys. . The necessary training materials are developed in-house by the faculty members.
