Kalinga Cultural Trust is a charitable trust established with the object of promoting and spreading Odisha culture. The Trust believes that the objects of the Trust can be achieved by spreading Jagannatha Dharma which is intrinsically associated with Odisha culture.
Sri Jagannath, the Lord of the Universe, remainsanunfathomable mystery and therefore, it is rightly said, 'Sarvam Rahasyam Purushottamashya Devonajanati Kuto Manushya".( even Gods are unable to fathom the depth of His mystery, what to speak about human being!)
He is Purushottam, the Supreme man and is worshiped by Millions all over the World with pious devotion and faith. He is the Lord of Lords, the eternal and the absolute truth.

The majestic Jagannath Temple located at Puri on the Bay of Bengal is the hallowed seat of the presiding deities, Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra and Subhadra. The deities are unique and carved of wood unlike in other Hindu temple meeting extraordinary requirements once in twelve years. The deities are in the shape of rough wooden pillars with shield like heads and stumpy arms and no legs and are worshiped with elaborate rituals and celebrations.

The Jagannath temple at Puri, built in 12th Century AD, is a grand marvel of architecture standing tall at 215 feet with exquisite carvings and lovely pieces of sculptures. The spectacular Temple impress the common spectators as well as the critic of Art and Architecture deeply reflecting the sublime and the ultimate.

The Jagannath Dharma symbolizes a composite religion and culture, which absorbed and synthesized essence of all religions, scholars, researchers and legends trace worship of Jagannath from aboriginal tribes to Buddhist, Jain and Vedic sources. And today Jagannath Dharma stands as the unique symbol of religious and cultural assimilation.

Kalinga Cultural Trust, Hyderabad with blessing of Lord Jagannath, has successfully built the replica of the Puri Temple standing tall at 75 feet with unique carving and sculptures at Road No 12, Banjarahills. Artisans from Odisha toiling over a period of 5 years have created this architectural and sculptural marvel. The temple is over 4 years old and devotees are thronging to have "Darshan" of the Lord Jagannath, the Lord of the Universe everyday.

Now the trust is embarking on a noble project to trace the origin and evolution of the Jagannath Dharma and Odisha culture through " Light and Sound". The project at the temple to take the sacred and soul stirring message of the unseen to its loved ones especially the young and the emerging. The legends of the almighty, the mysteries of the unseen and the unfathomable and their wisdom of the divine would all be brought out through the medium of Light and Sound in about 30 minutes.

Let the soul and conscience of all get aroused through the mesage of God on Love, Tolerance and Peace. Let all enjoy the heavenly tranquillity witnessing the show. Like any other unique and crerative pursuit the project, cost is demanding but worth the cause. So jin us in this deivine pursuit by liberty contributing for this project and invoke the blessing of Lord Jagannath.
