Idara-e-tehzeeb "Aligarh Muslim University" 4.37

The culture that started after establishment of the University could be seen in the form of system of bearer mien, self dignity in term of dress, to help the poor and needy, cooperation with the university administration as a elder of the family, and the sweetness of language in the form of URDU.
Certainly AMU culture is declining with passage of the time. The democracy, the power of money, multiculturalism and globalization led the shattering of the foundation of AMU culture. The competition led the dishonesty among the guardian of AMU culture and custodian of the university.


**We must remember that this glorious heritage is ours and it is for us to revive the past splendor of Aligarh. The inscriptions which have been carved on the walls of our STRACHEY HALL may fade with the passage of time but the inscriptions which Aligarh has written on the modern period of Indian history can never fade. Future historians will discover in Aligarh one of the main sources which has contributed to the evolution of modern India. Our duty is to regenerate those old traditions and to create in our University an atmosphere of research and enquiry into all the spheres of knowledge and preach the gospel of large hearted tolerance and of pure morality**

--->>The students coming out of this University should have Qur’an in the right hand, most modern scientific and technological advancements in the left hand and the crown of Laa Ilaah on the forehead. So that the Muslims regain the same glorious status of founders and promoters of science and technology as they did during the ascendance of their civilization.<<---
