Govt. College of Engineering Karunagappally-CEK 3.65

The Government College of Engineering Karunagappally (CEK) is a public institute of engineering and technology aided by the World Bank under the Government of India's TEQIP Programme. The college was established by the Government of Kerala in 1999 and is located in Karunagappally, in the north-west of Kollam district. The college is the second engineering college in Kollam district the fourth engineering College under the aegis of the Institute of Human Resources Development in Electronics. The institute was affiliated to Cochin University of Science and Technology until 2014 and the A P J Abdul Kalam Technological University since 2015.

The college began operations in 1999, Inaugurated by Sri. E K Nayanar (Honorable Chief Minister of Kerala). Among the engineering institutions under IHRD, CEK has the Largest campus by area (28 acres). The college offers four undergraduate programmes and two postgraduate programmes in the field of engineering and technology.
