שמי קרן עמנואל ואני ילידת העיר היפייפיה קלגרי שבקנדה. יש לי תואר ראשון בספרות אנגלית וחינוך, תואר שני בניהול מלכ"רים ותעודת הוראה שמתמחה בלימוד אנגלית כשפה זרה – כל התארים מהאוניברסיטה העברית בירושלים.
אני מלמדת אנגלית מספר שנים, בבתי ספר ובאופן פרטי.

היום אני בעלת בית ספר לאנגלית, ספיישל קיי אינגליש במזכרת בתיה.

כרגע יש לנו 12 חוגי אנגלית, מכיתה ב' עד ט'. יש קבוצה לכל רמה, ממתחילים ועד דוברי אנגלית. בכל קבוצה יש עד 6 תלמידים, ונפגשים פעם בשבוע למשך שעה שלמה.

Welcome to Special K English!

My name is Karen Emmanuel and I was born and raised in the beautiful city of Calgary in Canada. I have a B.A. in English Literature and Education, an M.A. in Nonprofit Management, as well as a Teaching Certificate specializing in teaching English as a Foreign Language – all from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

I have been teaching English for many years, in schools and privately.
Today I run Special K English, an English school for all levels in Mazkeret Batya. We currently have 12 after school groups, ranging from Grade 2 to Grade 9. There are groups for all levels, from beginners to native speakers. Each group has up to six students and meets for a full hour once a week.

I teach Bagrut Courses for 3, 4 and 5 point level students.

I teach adult courses (private lessons, in pairs, or small groups):

Conversational English
Business English
AMIR Exam preparation
CV writing and business presentations
Grantwriting and marketing

I teach with a lot of humor, patience, and experience.
