עמותת 'במקום' הוקמה ב-1999 על ידי מתכננים/ות ואדריכלים/ות במטרה לחזק את הקשר בין מערכות התכנון לזכויות האדם. העמותה פועלת בכלים מקצועיים כדי לקיים שוויון זכויות וצדק חברתי בתחומי התכנון והפיקוח והקצאת משאבי קרקע. "במקום" מסייעת לקהילות המצויות בנחיתות מקצועית, כלכלית או אזרחית בכל הנוגע למימוש זכויותיהן בשדה התכנון

Bimkom is an Israeli Non-Profit organization, that was established in 1999 by planners and architects with the vision of strengthering the connection between the planning system and human rights. Bimkom is using professional tools in order to promote equality and social justice in planning, development and allocation of land resources. Bimkom assits communities disadvantaged by economic, social or civil circumstances to exercise their planning rights
