World Crafts Council - Europe is one of the five regional branches (Africa, Asia, Latin America,North America and Europe) of the World Crafts Council, an international, non-governmental, non-profit organisation recognised by UNESCO, founded in 1964.
Initiatives include:
WCC-Europe Award for Contemporary Crafts (annually since 1992).
European Prize for Applied Arts (since 2009, in co-operation with WCC-Belgium-Francophone).
Annual General Assemblies.
Representation at craft fairs, exhibitions and trade events.
