Universities Allied for Essential Medicines - UAEM Galway 2.51

Universities Allied for Essential Medicines (UAEM) is a global network of students and researchers from different disciplines fighting to increase access to medicines in the developing world, and promoting increased development of medicines for neglected diseases.

We believe that universities and publicly funded research institutions will be part of the solution to the access to medicines crisis by promoting medical innovation in the public interest and ensuring that all people regardless of income have access to essential medicines and other health related technologies.

UAEM Europe’s driving force are our local chapters, present in over 10 countries, guided by a European Board and European Coordinating Committee.
