STEM Summer Academy 2.34

STEM Summer Academy was founded with the intention of giving young people the opportunity to experience Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths subjects in a fun, friendly, and hands-on way. In the vast area of STEM, there is a field to interest everyone, and this camp aims to show young students aged 9 to 12 just how exciting, interesting and fun these subjects can be, hopefully informing more people from an earlier age about their subject and career choices as they go through their education.

The STEM Summer Academy is founded and facilitated by Lee Campbell and John Harding and run with adult supervision. Lee and John are two sixth-year students with an impressive portfolio of work in both national and international STEM projects and competitions - just recently representing Ireland in the world’s largest STEM competition (F1 in Schools), being chosen for the Digital Youth Council of Ireland (Lee), and winning the National Career Skills Competition (John).
