Slaneyside Dog Kennels and Runs, a family business, was set up in 1983 on the banks of the river slaney and was originally a greyhound racing kennel, and over the years built a reputation for top class greyhounds around the world, with Slaneyside Derby winners in Ireland, UK and America. In 2003 Slaneyside Boarding Kennels was opened and quickly became the market leader in the boarding kennels area.

We are now one of the main distributors for DogTrace products in Ireland. Dog Trace products are designed, developed and manufactured by VNT Electronics Ltd in the Czech Republic. The dog training equipment respects the well-being of the animals and improves the communication between pets and owners. VNT Electronics Ltd specialises in development, production and distribution of electronic training collars, invisible fence systems, ball droppers and no-bark collars under the brand name Dogtrace.
