Rossewood Organic Farm 2.15

Rossewood Organic Farm is a certified organic, family run holding & is located in Birr, Co Offaly. This south facing farm lies amongst deciduous woodland surrounded by an esker & numerous underground springs. These springs meander through the limestone rock and uniquely supply the farm with exceptional water quality for the poultry and livestock.

Rossewood Organic Farm actively promotes farmgate sales of organic Hen & Duck Eggs & Lamb. The farmgate signage has attracted local, national & international attention to our hen & duck eggs. The hens & ducks ramble on the farm contentedly foraging, scratching, picking & poking for earthworms, beetles & larvae of all descriptions. Our own organic manures are used to enhance the fertility of the soil to produce grassland of the highest quality for our beef and lamb in harmony with nature. Farmgate produce is in accordance with organic standards which prohibit the use of chemicals, pesticides, herbicides or artificial fertilisers.
