Selling your property with us:
At P. N. O’Gorman every effort is made to make selling your home as straightforward and hassle-free as possible in these challenging times.

Step One:
Our experienced auctioneer will visit your property for a thorough inspection, measurements and notes will be taken and the auctioneer will discuss your reason for selling. Free and valuable advice will be given on the value of your property, method of sale (private treaty vs. auction) and sales and marketing.

Step Two:
Following the visit you will receive a detailed letter outlining the various aspects to selling your property from obtaining a BER Cert and notifying your solicitor or bank of your intention to sell. We will also include the suggested asking price based on comparables and all associated costs including professional fees. This will ensure you are fully briefed before placing your property on the open market.

Step Three:
Advertising and marketing is key to the successful sale of your property and we will provide a specific campaign for your property based on our experience, market conditions and your budget.

Your property will be listed on our web site www.pnogorman.ie in addition to the successful property web sites www.myhome.ie, wwwdaft.ie and other associated sites.

Step Four:
Our experienced auctioneer and staff will organise accompanied viewings of your property at times convenient with you, we engage as much as possible with all potential buyers to understand their budget and status to ensure that your property is being viewed by qualified buyers.

Step Five:
For all Private Treaty sales all offers are presented to you together with our recommendations whether or not to accept. If an offer is accepted a refundable booking deposit is taken and a sale advice note is issued instructing your solicitor to prepare and send sale contracts to the buyer’s solicitors. Once these are signed normally a binding 10% deposit (less the booking deposit) is paid to your solicitor and a completion date is agreed.

During this time which can be quite stressful P.N.O’Gorman Ltd staff will be on hand for support.
