The Ballina unit is dived into two sections.
Cadets: aged from 10 – 16 years old.
Ambulance Corps: or senior members who range in age from 16 – 60+.
Both these groups are extremely active all year round.

Our Cadets meet on Friday's from 7- 8:30pm where they learn first aid, communications, basic nursing skills and fun & games.
They also attend events within the region and nationally throughout the year.

Locally you will see the unit providing Emergency Ambulance and First Aid cover at local Football, Rugby, Boxing, Corporate events and many more, We also do Community Care duties which we call CARE (Care and Respect for the Elderly) where we bring guests from the locality to 11am mass in St Muredachs Cathedral each Sunday.

The unit is also very active within the region helping out our neighboring units with training and or personnel to help with duties.
