Maeve is a graduate of the Institute of Technology Tralee, with an honours degree in Health, Fitness and Leisure Studies. Also, she holds a Masters Degree in Exercise and Nutrition Science from the University of Chester.
Maeve is a full-time lecturer in Health, Fitness & Leisure Studies, I.T. Tralee, for the past 7 years. She has a very established career in the fitness industry also. From her own premises in DavCon Business Centre, Monavalley Business Park, Maeve works as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor. Since 2000 she has been teaching classes including Body Conditioning, Bootcamp and Cardio-kickboxing. She is also qualified as a pre and post natal exercise specialist. Maeve has experience working with a huge variety of clients (older adults, adolescents and clients with disabilities) and has also worked closely with athletes and inter-county teams as a nutritional consultant. Maeve is a black belt in TaeKwon Do and fought competitively both nationally and internationally from the age of 16. She is passionate about the role of healthy eating and good old fashioned hard training to reach ones goals.

Services Offered:

• Personal Training - Maeve works with personal training clients on a one to one basis by appointment between the hours of 7am to 7pm from Monday to Friday.

• Small Group Training - She also does Small group training & ‘wedding couples’ training in these hours.


• Nutritional Consultation - She does Nutritional consultations, analysing food diaries and designing healthy eating plans etc.
• Group Classes - Maeve teaches Group Fitness classes Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
Cardio-kickboxing (Tae Bo), Tues & Thurs, 7-8p.m.
Kickboxing Pads Class, Tues from 8-8:30p.m.

• Bootcamps - Also, Maeve runs weekend long Bootcamps, once per season. These action packed weekends include fitness testing and analysis, multiple work-outs, nutrition lectures and motivational talks with meals and transport to the many outdoor work-out locations included.
